PG is a program for accessing satellites which use the 'PACSAT Protocol Suite'. PG implements a file transfer protocol (called FTL0) which is used for uploading file to and downloading messages from PACSAT servers. In the FTL0 protocol, your computer is not used as a 'dumb terminal'; instead, it becomes an intelligent client' interacting automatically with the satellite.
